Queen Elizabeth dedicated her life to service.
The monarchy is an extraordinary institution and was beyond blessed to have her reign for as long as she did. 7 decades. The world’s loss is immense today.
Her devotion to country, devotion to her people. Putting others first. Putting country first, over self.
She paid tribute to her people of the Empire and Commonwealth, dedicating her life to serving them. Her words were etched in the hearts of millions, mine included.
“My whole life, whether it be long or short, shall be devoted to your service and the service of our great imperial family.”
