The Premiere Episode was a bit rocky...
Haha! It's true. I had some audio issues, dog and kid interruptions, and lots of nerves. BUT, I pushed thru it. One of the many things I strive to do whenever things are uncomfortable or challenging.
More Murphy Moments
Well, that discomfort continued when I tried to edit my video to share with you here on my blog. I tried on my computer with iMovie. It was NOT wanting to cooperate. It was adding a little skip, causing further audio issues. Sooo, I went to my iPad to try and edit the video. This not only took more time, but wasn't exactly as easy as it was via my computer. But I pushed thru. Saved the edited video and then said, "Pick it up again in the morning, Jess."
I did just that and this morning when going to watch the edited video, the audio is again, messed up even further. AGH!!
Now I wait...
Yup. I'm waiting, not-so-patiently, for a new Macbook to arrive. No, I didn't order a new one just for Real Talk Tuesday LIVE. Matt has been suggesting I upgrade for a while. Yesterday's frustrations gave me the much needed nudge to do it. Besides, the Macbook will be helpful when we PCS this summer. I won't have to worry about all the work I could be getting done without our Household Goods (HHG), that inevitably will still be on a ship somewhere.
So I'll try again and again, and again, when I want to throw in the towel. I won't do it, dammit. I won't. I have far too much valuable information to share with you. Real Talk Tuesday LIVE will continue but it might take a while to get it going as I had hoped.
All of this to say... I have to pause. UGH... I hate having to say that. I was so excited to get this going, but I won't be defeated. I WON'T! It's just a delay. That is all. A delay to have something amazing.
In the meantime, I will continue working on my content, so when I can share it with you, it'll be that much better! The door isn't closed and locked on Real Talk Tuesday LIVE, it's just jammed and by God, I'll have a good crowbar to help me pry it open soon.
