CRAZY vulnerable post coming at you today… A very different kind of before… not a fun DIY.

I’ve packed on more than a few extra L-Bs in the last couple of years. Many of you know I have a TEXAS-sized sweet tooth. Dessert has ALWAYS been my favorite meal.

I’ve been feeling pretty awful and it is time for me to take back control of my health.

As a 40-year-old mom, I want to be around for a long long time to see my son and future grandchildren grow up. I want to wake up and feel happy and vibrant and not have any joint pain or inflammation.

I don’t just want to reach these goals, I am committed to these goals.

My point is this… We are all human. Sometimes we find ourselves in a place that we don’t necessarily want to be. The great thing is, we can start again. Start a new journey. Set a new goal.

I’m starting a program to help reset my metabolism and get on a better path to taking better care of myself. I’m sharing for accountability. Maybe you’re on one of your own. If you are, I’d love to hear how it’s going.

The Fit For Fall challenge starts October 3rd. My personal goal for the challenge is to lose 10-15 lbs. The challenge ends just before Thanksgiving & what a great way to get healthier for the holidays.
