Today is day number two knowing I’m expecting! smiling ear to ear…
I thought about several things I didn’t blog about yesterday… pertaining to our becoming parents.
I’ve mentioned the housing wait-list in Hawaii and how ridiculously long it is (you can see more about this in my post here). Liz had mentioned yesterday after I told her my wonderful news, that my pregnancy may help us move closer to the top of the wait-list. Oh my, I hope she’s right.
I don’t know how far along I am. Matt was quick to look at pregnancy apps for my iPhone. It makes me laugh… he’s so sweet and such a guy. I plugged the date of my LMP (Last Menstrual Period) in to the one I decided to get, Baby Bump, and it gave me an estimated due date of December 18, 2011. squealing with happiness. While I’m anxious to share all this info with family, and the rest of the world, I’m scared. I just want to make sure all is well before doing so… and I hope everyone understands.
Today we’re barbecuing with some of our closest friends in Guam. We plan on telling them because it’ll be so much more fun in person and we leave Wednesday. It’ll be a good-bye BBQ but also a very happy one because of our news. 🙂
