My Second Fix

Stitch Fix

My second Fix came today.  If you haven’t heard about Stitch Fix, be sure to check it out.  It’s pretty amazing.

Fix # 2 | JessicaFawn.com

While I waited patiently for my Fix to arrive, sadly it was a bit of a let down this time around.  Not that I didn’t like any of the stuff that was sent, I just didn’t end up keeping anything.

Onto what I got.

Honey Punch Christina Longsleeve Chiffon Faux Wrap Dress | JessicaFawn.com

First up: The Honey Punch Christina Longsleeve Chiffon Faux Wrap Dress. While its beautiful and I couldn’t wait to try it on, the fit was wrong. It’s like the dress was made for someone with broad shoulders, which I do not have.  At $68.00, if it had fit better, it would have been a keeper for sure.  Bye-bye dress.

Next: A Daniel Rainn Ishara Lace Detail V-Neck Blouse.  Another beautiful find that I couldn’t wait to put on.  Sadly the fit, again, was just awful. The color and detailing were gorgeous. As soon as I looked in the mirror, I was sad. At the same price point as the dress, $68.00, it would have been worth every penny had it not looked so bad on me.  It’s going back to Stitch Fix.

Next: Pomelo Gwendolyn Printed Mixed Material Sweater.  I had a feeling I wasn’t going to like this the moment I took it out of the box and my feeling was right.  While the size of it felt right, it just looked wrong and I wasn’t going to pay $58.00 for it.  Another returned piece.

Next: Kut From The Kloth Cai Boyfriend Short.  While I did like them, I already have several pair like them and wouldn’t spend $68.00 for another pair. Back they go.

Last piece: A beautiful pair of Bella Boutique Ashbury Stone & Pyrite Teardrop Earrings.  They were stunning but sadly once I put them on, I didn’t care for them as much.  For $48.00, I didn’t want to keep them just because they were pretty when, more than likely, they’d sit in my jewelry box unworn.  Another item going back in the return bag.

While I didn’t keep a single piece from this Fix, I still have confidence in Stitch Fix to send me something great next month and I look forward to it.

On a non-Stitch Fix note, Spring had sprung here in Maine, until this morning when there was a lovely dusting of snow.  Lovely, I say with every bit of sarcasm.  While I love snow, I do, I’m ready for spring.  You hear me Mother Nature.  I’m ready!!!  We had a small taste of 70° weather earlier this week, and then BOOM! more winter.  So with that in mind, here are a couple of pictures of my spring readiness.
