MilSpouse Friday Fill-In

milspouse-friday-fill-in{What is your favorite MilSpouse blog (not including Wife of a Sailor who we all love, or your own)?  Submitted by Our Crazy Life}

Oh this one is hard… I love so many.  I truly don’t have a favorite…  I’ll list a couple that I can’t wait to read though.

The Sub Wife Life
The Journey of a Navy Wife

{What are your favorite perks about your s/o being deployed (we all know there are perks)? Submitted by Ramblings of a Marine Wife}

Perks?  Well some of the things I enjoy are things I enjoy on some day and not on others.  I know that doesn’t make much sense, but its the truth.  For example:  Have our California King sized bed all to myself…  It’s nice on nights when I’m so exhausted I want to sprawl out and not be woken up by the slightest of things.  But on nights when I’m missing my DH the most, the huge bed makes me feel even more lonely and sad.

{How long did you date your s/o before getting engaged?  Married?  Submitted by Utterly Chaotic}

My husband and I dated for 11 months before getting engaged.  We were engaged for a year and a half before getting married.

{What do you think your s/o would do if s/he wasn’t in the military? Submitted by Adventures of M-Squared}

Honestly I haven’t a clue.  The Navy has been his one and only job.  It’s all he’s known.

{If you could talk to the Secretary of the Navy, what is one suggestion you would like to bring to their attention in order to improve the lives of military families?  Submitted by My Life as His (Air Force) Wife}

Please try, and I know it’s hard, to have order more consistent.  So many times, orders are changed or delayed.  Moves are hard enough but when you’re waiting on official orders to come down or their changed on you, it’s even harder.
