MilSpouse Friday Fill-In

milspouse-friday-fill-in{With PCS moves happening every few years, do you take the time to paint and decorate your home? submitted by Life as Mrs. JPT

Paint, yes.  I just got done priming the walls in the house I just left, literally today.  I’m not sure if I’ll do the same when we move into our next house, whenever that may be.  I’m not sure how long we’ll be in the house and to have to turn right back around and paint again after a year won’t be worth the effort.  If we stay in HI for a while, I will paint.
Decorating, I always do.  I don’t go overboard, but I do make it more of a home then a house.  It’s important to me to make our home cozy.

{If you could live in any home on a television series, what would it be? submitted by Standing By Him}

I’d love to live in the house that Elena lives in on Vampire Diaries.  It’s old, big, and has so much character.  🙂

{What inspired you to start your blog?  submitted by Pink Combat Boots}

That’s a great question.  I’ve always loved writing and thought, hmmmm… this could be a great way to get some things off my chest, speak my mind, and also continue my love for writing.  🙂

{What is the weirdest thing you’ve ever seen on base? submitted by Adventures in Life}

Can’t really say I’ve seen much that’s weird… I’ve seen a few funny things that others might think are weird, and I initially thought was weird, but got used to.  In Guam, during July & August, you’ll see black birds that dive bomb runners & walkers.  No kidding.  It’s hilarious to see but sucks when it happens to you.  And the strangest part is, if you look at the bird while it’s about to dive bomb you, it stops and flies in a different direction.  Apparently these months are when they mate and they’re protecting their nests.

{Which historical figure (politician, writer, artist, scientist, actor, etc…) would you like to have dinner with?  submitted by Army of Two}

Shakespeare.  He’s inspired so many and written such amazing things… it would be great to see what inspired him.
