MilSpouse Friday Fill-In

milspouse-friday-fill-in{If you were given $1,000 right now, how would you spend it?
I’d spend it on stamps or my craft room.  I can always use more crafting stuff.  🙂

{If you had to choose a movie title (a real one that already exists) for your life story, what would it be?}
A Silent Love…  because most of the year my house is very quiet because my husband is underway, submerged somewhere in the sea.

{If you were a teacher, what subject would you like to teach?}
History…

{Has being a MilSpouse changed how you view holidays or how your holidays are celebrated? If so, how? If not, what hasn’t changed?}
Yes, being a military spouse has changed how I celebrate holidays as most holidays are celebrated before or after the actual holiday.  Like this year… my husband was underway for Thanksgiving & Chanukah, and will still be gone for Christmas and New Years (and yes, we celebrate both Chanukah & Christmas in our house).

{What is your favorite Christmas (or whatever holiday you celebrate) memory?}
My favorite Christmas memory was the first Christmas with my husband, at the time we were just dating.  He knew I love winter scarves and he bought me sooooo many and after I opened each one, he’d put it on me.  By the time I was done opening all my presents I could barely see, I had so many on.
