Now vlogging…

Hi there!

After a bunch of thought, I decided to jump into vlogging a bit. I’ll still be writing here as well, but thought some posts might be easier with video.

I’ve been wanting to give a tour of our house for a while. Why? Well, there may be someone moving to the area with a boat coming to the yard or a new Coastie family moving to the Coast Guard station and a bunch of other reasons. I’m the type of person that wants to know as much about a place as possible before I move there and videos always help. Hopefully mine will help those trying to decide whether they want to live in the Military/Privatized housing or out in the economy.

Now, I’ll be honest, and I’m always honest here… If I had to do it over, I would not have moved into this house.

Another great Fix

My sixth Fix arrived on my doorstep a couple of weeks ago and I have been so busy working on new stuff for my shop that I haven’t had a chance to blog about it.

Now that my little dude is in bed and my big dude is playing one of his games, I thought, get it done girl.

I am always so excited to see what is in the box each and every time and this go round was no different.

Gillian, my stylist, did a great job yet again.

Let’s get right to it.

Let’s Get Organized- Master Bedroom Closet

Today I’m sharing with you how I organized our Master Bedroom Closet. It’s an interesting space. While it isn’t small, it’s awkward but I worked with the space as best I could with some new containers and beautiful boxes.

Let’s jump right into it with the before pictures. We live in privatized Navy housing and are unable to make substantial changes. If we owned this house, the closets are one of the first things I would change, but that’s for another post.  The closet has two hanging rods. They’re not regular rods though. They’re the wire shelving kind, which I REALLY can’t stand. The shelves and rods are installed in an L shape.

Best Fix yet!!!

My 5th Fix came yesterday! When I read that each one would get better and better, I thought, “Okay… maybe”. It is sooooo BEYOND true.

My stylist, Gillian, has really listened to what I’ve requested and it’s almost like she’s in my head.

Lets get to what arrived in the pretty lined box.

Keeping busy and another Fix

Hi there…

Since cutting Facebook ties, I’ve literally felt a monstrous weight off my shoulders. I’ve had more time to work on NEW projects for my shop and soon I’ll be debuting them. My shop’s main focus has always been centered on Military Pride, and I’m working on introducing some organizing tools that will help military families, civilian families too, keep things tidy on a day-to-day basis. I’m really excited to share them with you… stay tuned.

Speaking of organizing. I’ve been doing a lot more of it. I’ll be posting about that, hopefully, this week. Since we’ll be PCSing (Permanent Change of Station, a grand ol’ military acronym for moving) at the end of the year, we, and I really mean I, need to make sure we’re as prepared as possible.

Our little guy is growing up far too quickly, as they do. He doesn’t say much but he is plum full of mischief. He’s enjoying preschool and loves his teachers a ton.

My fourth fix arrived a bit later than usual this month because of a technical problem, but once it did arrive, I was very happy with it.  On to the Fix.
