My sixth Fix arrived on my doorstep a couple of weeks ago and I have been so busy working on new stuff for my shop that I haven’t had a chance to blog about it.
Now that my little dude is in bed and my big dude is playing one of his games, I thought, get it done girl.
I am always so excited to see what is in the box each and every time and this go round was no different.
Gillian, my stylist, did a great job yet again.
Let’s get right to it.
First up: a pair of Jill Michael Montgomery Beaded Hoop Earrings.
One word. Beautiful. I love how simple they are and yet different from your standard hoops.
I also love that the earrings aren’t hoops that attach directly to your ear. If that makes any sense… it doesn’t, does it? Meaning they have they hang from the part that hangs from your ear. Still doesn’t make sense…. forget it. 🙂
Verdict: Keeping them. At $42 they’re not awful pricey either.
Next up, an adorable Pomelo Missy Polka Dot Tab-Sleeve Blouse.
I pinned this exact shirt on my “My Style” Pinterest Board about 5 weeks ago. The lovely, Nikki, over at delovely details blogged about her Fix and this blouse happened to be part of it. I loved it and had to add it to my board. Gillian saw it and added it to my Fix. Pinning to a board does effect your Fixes, folks. It truly does. 🙂
I especially love how airy it is. It’ll be adorable worn with a cami and shorts or some skinny jeans and boots. I may even wear it in our family photos. 🙂 Eeeeeek. So happy this blouse was in my Fix. (Screaming) “THANK YOU GILLIAN!!!!!”
Verdict: Of course, I’m keeping it. Are you kidding me? At $58, it’s so worth it for the joy I get just looking at the cute polka dots and beautiful color. It’s so… me.
Next… A Laila Jayde Alisa Striped Henley Hi-Lo Maxi Dress.
While this was cute, I’m not a fan of Hi-Lo dresses. Never have been.
Now if I keep it, and gift it to someone or something, would I end up saving the price of the dress with the “Buy All Discount” of 25%? Nope. It’s $88 and my BAD this go round is $68.50, unlike my last Fix, where I was able to save more than the price of the necklace I ended up keeping.
Verdict: It went back to Stitch Fix.
Next up, a LA MADE Mendoza Striped Henley Tank.
This tank is adorable. It fits great, is so comfortable, and very versatile.
I could wear it on its one with some shorts, with some pants and a cardigan, or even dress it up a bit with a blazer. LOVE IT!!! Maybe I’ll wear this in our family photos over the Pomelo blouse… hmmmm, choices. Choices. Looking at the outfit idea on the left side of the style card makes me giddy for family photos. What do you think???
Verdict: Needless to say, another keeper. At $58, it’s a little more than I would normally pay for a tank, but it’s too cute to send back.
Last and not least…
A Renee C Robinson Maxi Skirt.
The material is oh-so-soft. Obviously high quality fabric. I own a few maxi dresses, but no maxi skirts.
The color is really pretty too. Why not add one to my wardrobe???
Verdict: Keeping it. It’s $48.
