Since becoming a nomad, again, in November, I took a break from Stitch Fix. We don’t have an address and I didn’t want to take the chance of having something sent if our plans changed. Plans did change and I’m glad I didn’t schedule one for a while.
When I knew we’d be spending some time at my wonderful In-Laws’, I scheduled a Fix. I’m so glad I did. Gillian didn’t disappoint, yet again.
Lets get to it, shall we…
First up, the Renee C Alexus 3/4 Sleeve Polka Dot Collared Shirt Dress.
This dress is a beautiful dark blue. It can easily be worn dressed up or down and it’s so comfortable.
Verdict: Keeping it. At $38 it’s a steal and I can always use a cute little dress.
Next up: the Moon Collection Finley Split Neck Blouse
This blouse wasn’t my favorite when first taking it out of the box. I don’t know if it was the pattern. The way it was structured. I don’t know. Once I put it on, I immediately thought differently. It was comfortable. It was versatile. It was flattering.
Verdict: It took me a little time to get used to the pattern but I decided to keep it. For $48, it wasn’t too pricey.
Next up: the Fun2Fun Vallejo Double Button Henley Tank
The minute I took this tank out of the box I was in love. The color was nice. The feel of the fabric. It was comfortable to boot.
Verdict: Definitely a keeper. For $48, it’s a blouse that will be worn a lot so well worth the money.
Next up: the Mystree Brandee Floral Fit & Flare Dress
When I picked this dress up, I didn’t know if I could pull it off. It’s one of those that looks darling on a hanger, but would it look good on? It did. It was very flattering and could be worn so many ways.
The burgundy and nude color is beautiful and the pattern is something I’ve never seen before.
Verdict: A definite keeper. It’s the most expensive piece I received this time around, but well worth the $78.
Last but not least, the Zad Veronica Layered Metal Cuff.
In three words; Not my style. It’s just too big for my little wrists.
Verdict: I kept it. I know. I know. Why? At $32, I would have sent the cuff back but it would have cost more money to not keep it than my Buy All Discount. This has been the case with pieces in the past. I’ll give it as a gift or something. 🙂
This Fix was another success and I’ve scheduled my next one already.
Let’s break it all down.
Renee C Alexus 3/4 Sleeve Polka Dot Collared Shirt Dress – $38
Moon Collection Finley Split Neck Blouse – $48
Fun2Fun Vallejo Double Button Henley Tank – $48
Mystree Brandee Floral Fit & Flare Dress – $78
Zad Veronica Layered Metal Cuff – $32
Styling Fee – -$20
Buy All Discount (25%) -$56
TOTAL – $168
That ends up being about $34 a piece. Looking forward to seeing what Gillian sends next.
